Wholesale Q235 Q195 Q345 ST S355 Hot rolled carbon steel plates Factory, Factories

This term refers to the process of producing strip steel from a slab, typically a continuous casting slab, by heating it and then processing it through roughing and finishing mills. The resulting hot steel strip is then cooled to the desired temperature through laminar flow and coiled into steel strip coils by the coiler.

Product Description

Product Description
The cooled steel strip coils undergo various finishing operations such as leveling, straightening, and cutting to produce steel plates, flat coils, and longitudinal cut steel strip products. These products are then inspected, weighed, packaged, and marked according to the users' needs. In essence, a steel billet undergoes multiple rounds of rolling after being heated, and then the edges are cut and corrected to form a steel plate. This process is known as hot rolling.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the hot rolling process for steel coils?
Hot rolling is a metalworking process where steel billets are heated above their recrystallization temperature and then rolled through multiple sets of rollers to achieve the desired thickness and shape, followed by leveling and cooling.
What are the available material grades?
We provide several grades including Q195, Q235, Q345, and SS400, catering to various strength and durability requirements for different industrial applications.
In which industries are hot rolled steel coils primarily used?
They are widely used in shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, bridge construction, pressure vessel fabrication, and general mechanical engineering due to their excellent weldability and toughness.
What is the typical width and thickness range?
Our hot rolled steel coils typically feature a width ranging from 900mm to 1650mm and a wall thickness between 1.2mm and 16.0mm.
What certifications do these steel products carry?
All products are manufactured under the ISO9001-2008 quality management system certification, ensuring consistent quality and performance across all batches.
What are the standard shipping and trade terms?
We support FOB, CFR, and CIF trade terms. Standard export packaging is used to protect the coils during transit, primarily shipping from Xingang, China.
