The production of Zinc Iron Steel Sheets involves a process called "Galvannealing." In this process, the steel is first coated with zinc in a hot-dip bath. Immediately after emerging from the bath, the steel is passed through an annealing furnace. The resulting inter-diffusion between the iron from the steel and the liquid zinc forms a series of zinc-iron alloy layers.
